Recently read that NASSCOM has supported the Indian government on the software patent while it should have been the one who should have opposed it. Nasscom has done this to appease the US and try to get more dollar flow in ( So Myopic Uhh!! ).
One might argue that opposition is from folks only believing in the communist idelogy. See even from a capitalist/free market econ perspective software patents are a dark threat. They are serious impediments to innovation , especially recombinative ones. !!
I just hope our revokes the software patents.
