100$ PC by Nicholas Negorponte, looks like the Rs 5000 PC for the emerging market is going to come true. The product has been priced right so that emerging market can afford it, but does it meet the needs of the market. This will need to have an interface for which learning costs has to be very low ( something like a mobile), I would love it if somebody can up with an eyeToy kind of an interface for these devices. A mass computing device I know that is on works is PCTVT at MSIT in IIIT-H.
